WEALTH THROUGH GOD’S WORD
MEMORY VERSE: “And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper” (PSALM 1:3).
The Bible is replete with several passages that show divine path to wealth for all Christians who would keep themselves pure on their way to Heaven. Yet, deceived by the devil, many once flourishing and fiery spiritual lives have become extinguished, having been entangled in the carnal process of pursuing wealth.
Thus, comparing character (righteousness) and wealth, Billy Graham opines, “When wealth is lost, nothing is lost; when health is lost, something is lost; when character is lost, all is lost.”

Trusting His promises and relying on His Word alone are sure means of acquiring genuine wealth while upholding our righteousness. Our passage says that the blessed man avoids sinners – he is righteous. He reads and meditates on God’s Word day and night – he is devoted to God. He is a doer – sowing at the right time in a good environment, hence, he prospers.
Beloved, the Word says “whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” Yes, God will bless the work of your hand. You must do something that God can bless. Idleness leads to poverty and slow death. Work!
QUOTE: Do something that God can bless.
CHALLENGE: Would you not trust God, who alone empowers us to make clean wealth?
PRAYER: I pray for grace to wait on You, O God, until my divine prosperity is realised
