TIME TO ENTER THE ARK IS NOW

MEMORY VERSE: “For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation” (2Corinthians 6:2).

TEXT: GENESIS 7:12-24

Some years ago, some young men came to a crusade ground and heard the word of God on the need for them to decide to accept Christ as Lord. One of them surrendered his life to Christ while others left in annoyance. Not long after they drove away, they had a fatal accident and they all died. When the boy who surrendered his life to Christ got to the car, he observed that he would have died with his sinful friends because where he ought to have sat in car was totally destroyed.

The unimaginable wickedness that characterized the life of people during the time of Noah made God to decide to destroy them. As a way of escape, God told Noah to prepare an Ark that would save as many as would enter in because of an impending flood. Alas, only eight people entered the ark: the rest perished forever. Judgment is coming on the world. Jesus is the Ark of salvation. Enter now! Do not allow the pleasure of sin, fear of man, unbelief, and pressures from peers to hinder you.
