FAITHFUL FATHER
“And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear” (1 Peter 1: 17).
TEXT: 1 PETER 1:15-19
According to Don Stewart, “When we say God is faithful it means He is totally trustworthy – He is perfectly faithful.” In Lamentations 3: 22-23, Prophet Jeremiah captures it succinctly, “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” God is faithful to His children. To enjoy the best of God, I invite you into a personal child-father relationship with Him.

Be assured, no one can ever be more faithful than God. Thomas Chisholm wrote the poem, Great is Thy Faithfulness in 1923, as he considered God’s faithfulness to him. The refrain says:
Great is Thy faithfulness! (x2)
Morning by morning new mercies I see
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord unto me!
If you walk in obedience to Him, you will experience His faithfulness.
QUOTE: God is faithful to His children.
PRAYER: Holy Father, help me to be faithful in Jesus’ name.
