ABOUT THE ANTICHRIST

Memory Verse: “Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrist; whereby we know that it is the last time” (I John 2: 18).

TEXT: 1 John 2:18-25

John in his Epistle announced to us the coming of the Antichrist; this will happen immediately after the rapture of the saints. The antichrist will rise to rule the world and lead a great rebellion against Christ. A decree will be given to kill anyone who refuses to worship him and he will gain total economic control and no one will be able to buy or sell without receiving the mark of the Beast.

The Antichrist is “The beast from the Abyss” and “The beast from the sea “(Revelation 13:1, 11). He is the polar opposite and ultimate enemy of God; he will come to deceive the world with signs and lying wonders and sit in the temple to proclaim himself God. Lastly, he will be defeated by Jesus, who will destroy him by the Spirit of His mouth and the brightness of His coming. Many who are rebellious and are lovers of this world are under the rebellion of Satan. Are you one of them? Repent and make your ways right before it is too late.

CHALLENGE: Do not wish to witness the reign of the Antichrist.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to escape the reign of the Antichrist.
