PASSION FOR THE GOSPEL
MEMORY VERSE: “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek” (ROMANS 1:16)
Junrell Fuentes Revilla of the Philippines was on his motorbike on Christmas Eve when a dog started chasing after him and barking. This typically caused him some alarm, but Junrell could tell the pup was not being aggressive; the pup was just desperate to catch someone’s attention. The man felt like something was not right, so he followed along as the dog led the way to a garbage dump.
On arrival, the dog scout over to a tiny pile. In the pile was a newborn baby who had been abandoned. The dog had stumbled across the infant and took it upon itself to track down a human in order to save the little boy’s life! The dog had saved a life!
Our Saviour Jesus Christ has commissioned us to seek and save sinners who are about to perish. Without hesitation, let us arise and put away every hindrance. Christian youths must reach out to lost souls before they perish in their sins. Overcome your procrastination. Delay is dangerous. Step out and save the lost. You are better than the dog.

CHALLENGE: If a dog could be that compassionate, you can do better.
PRAYER : Father, help me to be faithful in evangelism.
