TOPIC: THERE ARE NO ABANDONED PROJECTS WITH GOD

OPENING PRAYER: Father, please help me to be a project in your hand

PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE: Leaders should ask members why they are weak when it comes to the aspect of prayer and what can be the cause of the weakness toward prayer

MEMORY VERSE: “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:6

BIBLE TEXT: Isaiah 49:15
[15]Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.

LESSON INTRODUCTION: God has no abandoned projects, no matter the challenges on the way, His projects will alway experience great finishing, completion and branding. He has not abandoned any of His divine plans, dreams, revelations and visions for your life as long as you continue to walk in His ways (Zechariah 3:7). You are His project, prepared and waiting to be ceremoniously unveiled for
the world to see.

TEXT REVIEW: Isaiah 49:15
i. God does not leave any project not finished.
ii. God see we humans as a project so he can’t abandon us.

LESSON OUTLINE:
REASONS WHY GOD WILL NEVER ABANDON US

  1. He is with us at all times. Matthew 28:20, John 14:20
  2. He has promised never to leave us alone. Joshua 1:5, Hebrew 13:5, John 14:18, 25-27
  3. He is faithful to His promises. Numbers 23:19, 1 Kings 8:56, Joshua 21:45, Hebrew 10:23
  4. He desires our fellowship. 1 Corinthians 1:9, Revelation 3:20.
  5. He loves us and He will not forget us. Romans 5:8, John 3:16, Isaiah 49:15-16
  6. He is not finished with you yet. Isaiah 55:8, Romans 8:28, Jeremiah 29:11.

ACTIVITY: Discuss how you have been a project in God’s work

SUMMARY: Without any doubt, be a project in the hand of God.

CONCLUSION: Have you abandoned your faith in God? God has not abandoned you. Have you abandoned your dreams? God has not abandoned His thoughts for your life (Jeremiah 29:11). You may have also abandoned your plans and purposes in life because of the prevailing circumstances, but
God nas not abandoned any of His plans for your life. Whatever you are going through right now, God does not and will not leave any
Project without finishing what He started.

  1. Father, whatever you have started in my life, please complete it in Jesus’ Name.
  2. Father, please increase my faith and help me to be completely dependent on You in all that I do.
  3. Father, please do that which only you can do in RCCG in Jesus’ Name.
