LESSON INTRODUCTION: Thanksgiving is an instrument of victory given to believers by God. Though it is always given after a victory is recorded as in the case of the children of Israel after crossing the Red Sea and the case of Hannah after giving birth to Samuel. Testimonies is the act of sharing with others what God had done in the life of a believer and what God did for the believer as in the case of David testifying before King Saul that God helped him to kill a bear and a lion.

LESSON AIM: To ensure that thanksgivings and testimonies become part of everyday life of members.

TEACHING OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, members should be able to know:

  • Who can engage in thanksgiving
  • Where testimonies can be shared

TEXT REVIEW: Psalms 103:1-5
