C: LESSON INTRODUCTION:
The primary purpose of dressing is to cover ones nakedness and to glorify God. As children of God, we should led our dressing give glory to God. Our dressing is the first description of who we are. In today’s bible text Moses was called an Egyptian by the way he dressed.
Our character is judged by our style of dressing. A well refined, cultivated mind, will be revealed in the choice of simple and appropriate attire.

LEADERS DIARY:
A: LESSON AIM: To give a proper account and explanation on how we ought to physically and spiritually dress as Christians.

B: TEACHING OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, members should be able to:
i. Understand the mind of God concerning our manner of dressing.
ii. Take responsibility over our manner of dressing.

C: TEXT REVIEW: Exodus 2:15-19
i. Moses who was a jew, was called an Egyptian because of his dressing.
ii. The seven daughters of the priest of Midian-Reuel mistaken him to be an Egyptian because of his physical appearance (his dressing).

D: TEACHING METHOD: The leader should use the discussion method.

E: TIME MANAGEMENT: Share the teaching time using the suggested time schedule.

LESSON OUTLINES: There are three outlines:

A: WHAT OUR DRESSING SAYS ABOUT US:
.- It should differentiate us from the world. – 1 John 2:15
.- It should not become a tool of seduction. – Philippians 4:5
.- It should send a message of godliness. – 1 Timothy 2:9
.- It should reveal how much we love and value God
.- It has positive or negative influence on others. – Romans 14:15-16

B: THE NEED FOR MODERATION IN CHRISTIAN DRESSING (PHILIPPIANS 4:5):
We are naturally concerned, because it is the quest of every believer to grow into full stature of Christ: to have temperance and control over the body, to cultivate a sound mind and to be wise in all spiritual things. In other words, we are to be transformed from this world and not to be conformed to this world.
In order, therefore, to understand the implications of clothing, it is imperative that we know what the scripture says. According to Matthew 5:14-16, we are to stand out as lights in the world and to be different and this must surely be reflected in our dressing.

C: DANGERS OF INDECENT DRESSING:
.- It can lead to disrespect.
.- It can lead to assault.
.- It can lead to rape.
.- It can lead to arrest.
.- It can bring shame.

ACTIVITY: What is indecent dressing?

SUMMARY: Dressing portrays your personality. Please dress decently.

CONCLUSION: Dress well if you want people to address you well.
