TOPIC: ATTRACTING GOD’S BLESSINGS 3 (THE FAITHFUL)

BIBLE TEXT: Luke 16:10-12
[10]He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.
[11]If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?
[12]And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which is your own?

MEMORY VERSE: 1 Corin. 4:2 “Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful”.

LESSON AIM: TO let the children know the rewards of being faithful

CENTRAL TRUTH: God is committed to the faithful

INTRODUCTION: Faithfulness is required by every child of God. You cannot walk with God Or even go far with God if you are not ready to live a faithful life. God and even man can only entrust things of value to a faithful child. And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.” 2Timothy 2:2

STUDY GUIDE
A. WHAT IS FAITHFULNESS – Luke 16:10-12

1. Faithfulness is absolute and unwavering commitment to God and man.
2. Trustworthiness and dependability.
3. Undivided loyalty and attention towards God.
4. Consistency of character.
5. Performing to expectation.

1. Divine placement in authority – Gen 39:4-6
2. Divine provision, welfare and comfort
3. Divine promotion – Mathew 25:21
4. Divine protection- Psalm 101:6
5. You will enjoy divine recognition and recommendation – Numbers 12:7

1. Daniel- Daniel 6:4
2. Apostle Paul- Acts 26:19
3. Moses- Hebrews 3:5
4. Jesus Christ- Heb 2:17
5. Onesimus- Col. 4:9

D. SOME OF THE AREAS GOD REQUIRE YOUR FAITHFULNESS

1. Be faithful in your relationships- Hosea 12:6
2. Be faithful in the use of your Time – Eph 5:16
3. Be faithful on how you use your Talent-Exo 35:10
4. Be faithful to God and His Word by keeping all His words

CONCLUSION: Faithfulness provokes God’s attention and brings about His blessings

INVITATION: Accept Jesus Christ to get His blessings.

LIFE APPLICATION: As a child of God, it is very important for you to be faithful to Godin order to attract His blessings.
