B. GIVE BIBLICAL EXAMPLES EXAMPLES FROM THE FOLLOWING PASSAGES: Daniel 3:23-25, Daniel 6:16-22, Matthew 9:20,Matthew 21:18-22

LIFE APPLICATION: As a child of God this gift of faith is available for you as long as you believe in the God of all possibility.

CONCLUSION: Make yourself available to exhibit an unshakeable confidence in the word of God.

LESSON TWENTY EIGHT (28)
TOPIC: THE POWER GIFT 2: HEALING AND WORKING OF MIRACLES

BIBLE TEXT: Mark 1:29-34

MEMORY VERSE: Mark 16:18 “They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”

LESSON AIM: To let the children know the power of healing

CENTRAL TRUTH: Our God is a healer

INTRODUCTION: What is Healing? Healing means to restore to health; to overcome a malady caused by a disease, virus, bacteria, germ, malformation, etc. The gift of healing is not medical science but God has anointed many people to operate with His mighty power because there are no situations that exceed the healing pOwer of God. There is nothing too hard for God. While the working of miracles is allowing the mighty power of God to flow through you. True miracles always confirm and bear witness to the Gospel. They always give glory to Christ, the Miracle Worker.

STUDY GUIDE
A. WHAT IS THE GIFT OF HEALING?
The gift of healing is an endowment from the Holy Spirit upon a human to bring about miraculous healing and deliverance from disease and infirmities whether functional, organic, cellular, nervous, or etc. It is the power of God being made manifest through a human to destroy the works of the devil in a human body.

B. WHAT THE GIFT OF HEALING IS NOT

  • It is not medical science.
  • It is not a temporary psychological cure.

C. HOW YOU SHOULD OPERATE IN THE ANOINTING WITH THE GIFT OF HEALING.

  • Spend time in prayer, specifically aimed at healing.
  • Learn the healing Scriptures. Then, at any time, you can use the Word of God to pray for someone’s healing.
  • Stay in close relationship with the Holy Spirit. You will be prepared when He directs you to pray.
  • Get compassion in your heart before you pray. 1 Corinthians 13:1-2.

D. THE GIFT OF WORKING OF MIRACLES
A miracle is the performance of something against the laws of nature; it is a supernatural power to intervene and counteract earthly and evil forces.

  • Signs may be defined as, “significant displays of power that point beyond themselves.”
  • Wonders may be defined as, “that which emphasizes the marvelous aspect of the signs.” The word “wonder” is never used by itself. It is always used with other words, such as sign.
  • Miracles are defined as “mighty works that bring out this truth: In Christ’s miracles, there is supernatural power.” The word “miracles” (dunamis) means, “the working of God’s power that interrupts, disregards and displaces the natural laws of nature.”

E. GIVE EXAMPLE OF MIRACLE IN THE BIBLE (John 2, John 11, Matt. 14:13-14, Act 19:1-6, Exodus 14:16)
The greatest miracle was God Coming to earth, born of a virgin, as fully human. He never lost His divine attributes. He voluntarily veiled them to become fully man, but was always remained fully God. Thirty years later, the Holy Spirit came upon Jesus. Then, Jesus unveiled some of His divine attributes. When He arose from the dead, He unveiled all of them. Now, He is alive and active through the Holy Spirit with His miraculous power to heal. Jesus was crucified and resurrected to reconcile us to Him. Salvation is the greatest miracle any of us will experience. Do you know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior?

LIFE APPLICATION: The greatest miracle was God coming to earth, born of a virgin, as fully human.

CONCLUSION: It is not God’s will that we should be sick. It is clear that Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil (1st John 3:8). We know that Jesus was used to heal many people. God wants us to be healthy, not just healed.

LESSON TWENTY NINE (29)
TOPIC: THE REVELATIONAL GIFT 1: WORD OF WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE

BIBLE TEXT: Acts 27:5-16

BIBLICAL EXAMPLES OF WORD OF WISDOM (2 KING 5:10)

D. PURPOSE FOR THE WORD OF KNOWLEDGE AND WISDOM
The purpose for both the word of wisdom and the word of knowledge is the same. It is to build up Christ’s body. These two gifts often work together, but the word of knowledge may come before the word of wisdom. By the word of knowledge Jesus told the Samaritan woman about her past life. Then, by the word of wisdom He gave her the solution to her problem. John 4:1-25

  • Their words were in absolute harmony with the words of the prophets that preceded them (Isa. 8:20; Gal. 1:8-9)
  • They acted in accordance with the will and approval of God (Deut. 18:19).

LIFE APPLICATION: Whenever the prophecy of God comes to you it is to guide you in the right path.
