LESSON AIM: To understand importance of goal getting in our lives and how to set achievable goals.

INTRODUCTION: Goals serve as the roadmap to our purpose, visions, and Tambitions, guiding our actions and decisions towards desired outcomes. A goal is a desired result or outcome that a person envisions and is committed to achieving. It provides direction, motivation, and a sense of purpose. Goal setting is the process of identifying specific objectives and creating a plan to achieve them. It involves setting clear, achievable targets and establishing a timeline for their accomplishment. Every area of our lives (spiritual, academic, mental, family, physical, social and financial) requires goal setting. In this study, we shall consider why we need to set goals, components of a goal and how to set a “SMART(ER)” goal.

OUTLINE:
A. WHY DO I NEED TO SET GOALS?
B. COMPONENTS OF A GOAL
C. HOW TO SET SMARTER GOALS
