MESSAGE TOPIC: THE PROCESS AND PRICE OF VISION (1-3)
BY: DR. PAUL ENENCHE

SERVICE OBJECTIVE(S): Understanding the process it takes and the price to pay to arrive at the fulfilment of vision

Every Divinely proposed vision has a Divinely approved process. It is not enough to have vision, it is important to know what it takes to move from vision to realisation.

Many have vision but few have manifestation.

Vision without manifestation equals frustration and stagnation.

To know what to do and not know how to get there is to remain where you are.

Every prize carries a price; everything of value attracts a cost; every product has a procedure
Vision without fulfilment ends in embarrassment; nothing attracts mockery like vision that has no motion

Nothing attracts mockery like vision that lacks manifestation

THE PROCESS AND PRICE OF VISION:

  1. Receive it of the Lord (Hab. 2:1-4; Jer. 6:16; Acts 13:1-2; Jer. 1:5; Acts 26:19)
1a. Vision is insight into God’s purpose for a man’s life
Hence, authentic vision that is guaranteed fulfilment must come from the Lord
If vision must be realised it must be received of the Lord
1b. Vision is access to Divine design and blueprint for a man’s life (Jer. 1:5)
If you initiate the vision you are responsible for the fulfilment of it, but if God initiates the vision, He is responsible for the fulfilment of it
  2. Undergird it with the Word (Deut. 29:29; Matt. 18:16b; 2Cor. 13:1)
Vision must be undergirded with revelations from the Word for it to be guaranteed fulfilment
Any vision without scriptural backing might still suffer frustration
2a. Our possessions are determined by our revelations, not just our visions (Deut. 29:29)
2b. Every Word or purpose is established in the mouths of two or three witnesses (Matt. 18:16b; 2Cor. 13:1)
2c. The Word of God is the raw material for creation
Vision involves creating things that were not before
  3. Fertilize and nurture it in prayer (Dan. 6:10; Heb. 4:16; Gen. 32:24-28; 1Pet. 5:8-9; Eph. 6:18)
Every Kingdom product is delivered through the womb of prayer
3a. Prayer secures the help of God in the fulfilment of vision (Heb. 4:16)
Vision must be processed through supplication to experience manifestation
3b. Prayer wards off enemy opposition to vision’s fulfilment (1Pet. 5:8-9)
If the vision is from Heaven, the devil must resist it!
People of vision are people of prayer
Whatever God has shown you as a vision, run it like a ministry – let prayer undergird every part of that vision.
3c. Prayer secures Divine guidance for the fulfilment of the vision (Hab. 2:1-4; Jer. 6:16)
  4. Be sensitive to Divine timing (Hab. 2:3; Eccl. 3:11; 3:1; Ps. 90:12; Eph. 5:15-16; Luke 19:44; Gal. 4:1-2; Ex. 2:14)
Every God-ordained vision or purpose is time sensitive
4a. God is a God of times and seasons and the beauty of every purpose is in its marriage to the right timing (Eccl. 3:11)
When purpose marries timing, beauty is born.
Everything God tells a man is time sensitive
4b. Divine actions and resources are only guaranteed in Divine timing (John 2:4)
Every visitation has a season (Luke 19:44)
4c. Divine timing is necessary for human preparation to be complete (Gal. 4:1-2)
  5. Be sensitive to Divine strategy (Eccl. 8:6NIV; John 21:6; Ex. 14:21)
Purpose is not only tied to time, purpose is also tied to procedure
5a. Only the right procedure will guarantee the right product
The way you follow determines the place you end
God does not only give vision, He gives procedure.
When the vision is right and the approach is wrong, the reproach is inevitable!
5b. The power of God is behind the right procedure (Ex. 14:21)
In the realm of the Spirit, not every way is a way (Jer. 6:16)
5c. Accurate obedience is the answer to enemy resistance (2Cor. 10:6)
  6. Identify the cost or demands of the vision (Luke 14:28; Acts; 1Cor. 9:24-27)
6a. If you don’t know what to do to get at what you want then you don’t really know what you want
Part of getting what you want out of life is knowing what to do to get there
6b. Knowing the cost places the responsibility of discipline and action on the vision bearer (1Cor. 9:24-27)
6c. Knowing the cost imparts the tenacity to see to its fulfilment
  7. Be sensitive to Divine directions along the way (Matt. 4:4; Gen. 37:5-9; 12:1-5; 22:1-5; John 2:5-11; Gen. 22:11-12)
In the journey of vision, God does not give instructions once and for all, He gives instructions once and again.
7a. God will never give the entire picture and process of a vision at once to man, otherwise it may become too overwhelming for man.
That is why man must be connected; He spoke before and will speak again to move you from level to level
7b. God gives instructions in stages so that the obedience of each stage can qualify you for the
instructions of the next level (John 2:5-11)
Vision is fixed but direction is flexible; vision is definite, direction is dynamic.
In the course of the fulfilment of the vision you must be sensitive to the dynamism of the direction
7c. God gives instructions in stages and is capable of alterations of instructions based on obedience from man (Gen. 22:11-12)
Once you are not connected to direction, you can be married to tradition and give birth to frustration
  8. Be doggedly committed to paying the price (1Sam. 17:34-36; Gen. 32:24-28; 2Kings 2:3)
8a. It is what is pursued that must be possessed
What is never pursued is never possessed, and the strength of pursuit determines the weight of possession.
8b. It takes a fight to take a flight
Nothing moves from the ground level until someone is ready for a fight!
Every other factor being in place, impact is directly proportional to input.
Give vision all that you have and it will give you all that it contains
  9. Be hardened against human opinion and opposition (Gen. 37:8; Luke 22:3; John 13:27)
9a. Human opinion and opposition will always rise in envy and hatred against Divine vision and purpose
If you mind opposition, you lose your destination.

9b. The enemy will always pass through people to attempt to frustrate the purpose of God in men’s life (Luke 22:3; John 13:27)
When you have a destiny that is worth it, satan can enter people to oppose you, so you must be hardened.
9c. The impact of vision will always provoke outbursts from the enemy (John 12:3-4)
If you are going to go far, deafen your ears and thicken your skin.

  1. Maintain faith in God for the fulfilment of the vision (Hab. 2:4; Heb. 11:6, 32-34)
10a. Every Divine result delivers by the engagement of the force of faith (Heb. 11:6)
Faith is the currency with which supernatural transactions are made
If there is anything that must be secured or purchased, it is done by faith.
10b. Faith in God is the magnet of supernatural resources for the actualization of Divine purpose
10c. Faith is the cure for obstacles in life (Heb. 11:32-34)
  2. Refuse to give up (Hab. 2:3; Gal. 6:9; Heb. 10:37-39)
11a. Refuse to give up because visions speak at the end, not at the beginning.
11b. The temptation to give up always arises when due season is near
11c. Visions are for an appointed time (Hab. 2:3)
Visions don’t happen in your time, they happen in His time
  3. Celebrate victories and success along the way (Ps. 103:1-3; 1Sam. 17:37; Luke 17:15-19; Rom. 4:20)
12a. Little victories are the foundations for major victories
Until little victories are celebrated, major victories are never precipitated.
12b. Appreciation is the doorway to perfection
The vision may not be perfect yet, but as you appreciate, you shall step into perfection.
12c. Celebration in anticipation is proof of strong faith and conviction (Rom. 4:20)
The strength of your faith is determined by your ability to celebrate in advance, when the result is not yet in your hands.
We are in the days where those who made people weep, it is their turn to weep. Those who claim to own this land shall be disappointed. We are in the days where righteousness shall rise and wickedness shall sink. (Isa. 42:13-15; 34:5-8; Ex. 12:12)
