SERVICE OBJECTIVE(S):

  1. Understanding the season of Christ’s birth
  2. Understanding what was born at Christ’s birth

THINGS TO NOTE:

  1. The celebration of the birth of Christ is the foremost celebration in the history of the world
  2. The season of Christ’s birth is the season of great joy and celebration
  3. The Christmas season is the season of hope and expectation
  4. The Christmas season is the season of love and unification

WHAT GOD DISPLAYS AT CHRISTMAS:

  1. The season of Christ’s birth is the season of the highest display of the love of God (John 3:16)
  2. The season of Christ’s birth is the season of the highest display of the wisdom of God (1 Cor. 1:24; 30)
  3. The season of Christ’s birth is the season of the highest display of the might of God
    Nothing is comparable with the Son of God becoming the Son of man

WHAT WAS BORN WHEN CHRIST WAS BORN?

  1. God’s Personality (John 1:1-5; 1 John 4:4)
    It was not the birth of Christ that was the most important but what was born when Christ was born.
  2. God’s Presence (Matt. 1:22-23)
    As a child of God when you carry Christ in you, anywhere you step into people should feel and encounter God.
  3. God’s Purpose (John 18:37; 1John 3:8; Col. 1:27)
    WHAT WAS GOD’S PURPOSE WHEN CHRIST WAS BORN?

3a. The purpose of reconciling man back to God
3b. The purpose of restoring the image and likeness of God back to man

  1. God’s Promise/Prophecy (Gen. 3:15; Gal. 4:4-5)
  2. God’s Power and Possibility (Isa. 9:6; John 1:12)
    WHAT POWER WAS BORN WHEN CHRIST WAS BORN?
    a. The power that gave birth to Him
    b. The power that turns people into sons and daughters of God (John 1:12)
  3. God’s Principle – God’s standard for life and way of doing things (John 14:6)
  4. God’s Provision (John 3:16; Rom. 8:32)
  5. God’s Peace (Isa. 9:6; Luke 2:13-14)

LIGHT WE RECEIVED FROM THE BIRTH OF CHRIST:

  1. The plan, purpose and promise of God will come to pass no matter how long it takes.
    It doesn’t matter how long it has taken, if God has settled it, promised it and the Word of God has covered it, it will come to pass!
  2. The love of God will overcome every obstacle, be it human or demonic (Jer. 31:3; Heb. 5:4).
  3. At the appointed time, God uses everything to accomplish His purpose (Rom. 8:28; Matt. 2:6)
    Don’t over empower the devil, he can become an instrument too.
  4. The highest form of living is giving (John 3:16)
    Until you are actively giving, you are not actively living (John 3:16)
    Commitment to God will make God to give you honour but when you don’t sow seeds of honour you won’t reap the multiplication
    People are struggling for what to receive but are not willing to give
    Begin to sow seeds from where you are; the level you are.
    Jesus came to give; He gave and gave and gave until He gave His life.
  5. Humility is the surest foundation for greatness and the platform for true authority (Acts 12:23)
    5a. Jesus Christ agreed to become a man, to be born into the family of a village carpenter, inside a manger (an animal house).
    If you are looking for authority, embrace humility and if you are looking for greatness, embrace meekness.
    Anybody you see in pride today, is a man that has no future tomorrow
  6. How you were born is not as important as how you live
    What you suffered is not as important as what you will offer
    Don’t focus on your history at the expense of your destiny
    The more terrible the history, the more glorious the destiny
  7. It is possible to live as a citizen of heaven in the world of men
    It is possible to live a godly life in the earthly realm

PRAYERS

Father, I thank You today for the birth of the Saviour, Jesus Christ. Today I connect with the love, wisdom and might of God, in order to manifest them, in Jesus Name.

Father, thank You for Your Word to us today. Thank you for teaching me and instructing me on the teaching of Christmas. Father, let Your Personality, Presence, Purpose, Promise, Prophecy, Power, Possibility, Principle, Provision and Peace be revealed unto me. To You be all the glory Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

Father, we speak peace upon our Nation, Nigeria. We speak peace in Enugu State, Ihamufu. We ask that the peace of God will reach that area and territory and give us tranquility Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:

  • Every demonic affliction in your life, will be gone like it was never there before!
  • Everything the devil is denying you today it is over forever!
  • Anything that is in Christ that is needed by your life, I decree receive right now!
  • Anyone in any form of crisis today, whose mind is troubled, I speak PEACE!
  • What you are trusting God for in this latter end of the year is coming into your hands!
  • Everyone due to be established in marriage receive your establishment right now!
  • Everything that is wrong in your system is healed and over right now!
