There is one place God will never let you stay – the place where you are. Once God touches our lives, we can be certain we will never be the same. He will move us, change things, even shake us up to get us where He wants us.

You see, for the Christian, there is no such thing as status quo. There is a chorus by Ken Medema that always challenges me. It goes, “Will you stay where you are, or will you reach for a star? Play the game? Be a fraud? Or die to self and live to God? This could be victory’s hour, claim His grace, claim His power.

Will you stay where you are, or reach for a star?” Is God calling you to change something in your life? Don’t stay put! Reach for a star, and let Him take you to new heights.
