“…whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant.” – MATTHEW 20:26
Jesus told His disciples that true greatness comes through serving others. This type of “serving faith” models the lifestyle of self-sacrifice that defines His true followers.
When we give ourselves to the service of others, we are carrying on the example established by Jesus who said that He “did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”
So, look for opportunities to “give yourself away” this week. You will experience the fullness of life that comes only when we walk in step with God, and who knows – someone might even see Jesus in you.
