A PREPARED TABLE

13th July 2023

Scripture Reading: PSALMS 23: 1-6

Focus

“Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.” (Psalm 23: 5)

Prior to our Focal Scripture, the psalmist had made mention of how he went through the valley of the shadow of death. He made mention of how he had been through negativity. Notice that in our Focal Scripture, after what looked like a season of negativity, it became a tale of tables prepared before him in the presence of his enemies. After what he went through, he got a prepared table. The Lord compensated the psalmist for all his travails by preparing a table before him.

Friend, for everything you have been through, God will prepare a table before you as your enemies watch. For every negativity you have encountered on your pathway, God will cause you to enjoy an abundance that will compensate for all you suffered. For everything you have suffered, God will cause you to be compensated. For every attack of the predators and marauders, your compensation is coming. For every time they tried to pull you down, your compensation is coming.

God will compensate you for every lie that was told against you. God will compensate you for every delay you encountered in your destiny journey. God will compensate you for every denial you faced in time past. God will compensate you for all the prayers you made that seemed not to be answered as speedily as you desired. God will compensate you for the conspiracies that were targeted at you. For every valley you went through, expect the tables to be prepared before you.

Every journey that took you through the valley of the shadow of death will end at the table that the Lord has prepared. Every journey that began with pain will end in joy. Every journey that set you backwards will end in compensation. Every journey that tried to pull you down will end in high places. Every journey of pain and shame will end in congratulations. Every journey that has reduced you will eventually take you higher.

The plans of the enemy against you will make way for your restoration with compensation. If God be for you, whatever valley you go through will make way for the table prepared before you.

Declaration

For every valley I have been through, God is preparing a table for me, in Jesus’ name!
