he church has an awesome role to play in today’s world, as more and more people are looking for the truth. Jesus called His followers “a city set on a hill” (Matt. 5:14), and that includes you. Since you belong to Christ, you’re always an integral part of His body—not just while in a church building or serving in ministry. In fact, you represent the church to others whether at home, at work, or even online. And the more time you spend with the Lord, the more you’ll reflect Him. I encourage you to enjoy His loving presence as you read these pages. And be ready to share with the world the reason for your hope: that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and everyone who knows Him becomes a child of God forever.
