ACCEPT YOUR NEW ‘FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT’S PERSONALITY

2Corinthians 5:17 (CEV, GNB), Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV, CEV)

Anyone who belongs to Christ is a new person. The past is forgotten, and everything is new. *Anyone who is joined to Christ is a new being; the old is gone, the new has come. *But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance…*God’s Spirit makes us loving, happy, peaceful, patient, kind, good, faithful, gentle, and self-controlled…

By what Christ has done for you by His death, burial and resurrection, you are now a completely new being. You have a new life and everything about you is now like Christ. All of this happened in your Spirit and as you accept it as your reality (by renewing your mind with this truth), it will reflect in your soul and body. You have a new nature. You must start accepting and identifying yourself with your real new nature, which is just like Christ.

Your new nature is perfectly described by what the King James Version calls the fruit of the Spirit. You are a new tree now and this new nature you have in you is like a seed in you. As you acknowledge what Christ has done for you and yield to the leading of God’s Spirit in you, this seed continues to mature and manifest (bear fruit).

Keep accepting it as your reality by faith, until it manifests. Do not accept or believe anything else. The fact that a new apple tree has not yet started producing apple fruit does not mean it is not an apple tree. You have can manifest this new nature. God has given you all you need for life and godliness, (2Pet.1:3). Always say to yourself, “I am loving, I am joyful, I am peaceful, I am patient, I am kind, I am faithful, I am good, I am meek, I am self-controlled.”

I am loving, I am joyful, I am peaceful, I am patient, I am kind, I am faithful, I am good, I am meek, I am self-controlled.
