ACKNOWLEDGE GOD AND LET HIM FLOW THROUGH YOU

Genesis 40:8 (GNB), Genesis 41:15-16 They answered, “Each of us had a dream, and there is no one here to explain what the dreams mean.” “It is God who gives the ability to interpret dreams,” Joseph said. “Tell me your dreams.” *And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it: and I have heard say of thee, that thou canst understand a dream to interpret it. And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace.

Some people shy away from solving problems and being a blessing to others because they feel they may not be able to do anything about the situation. They feel this way because their eyes are fixed on themselves and their abilities, not on God and His ability. Nothing is impossible with God, (Luke 1:37). When Joseph stood before Pharaoh’s officials in prison and Pharaoh himself, he wanted to be of help to them and he began by giving them hope. He did this by shifting their focus to God’s ability, then he allowed God use him to interpret their dreams. As Joseph acknowledged God’s power and ability, God flowed through Joseph to solve their problem.

Many people do not get solutions because their minds are fixed on the wrong things. God wants to use you to shift their focus to Him then flow through you to help them. Jesus and His disciples met a man who was born blind and all their mind was fixed on if it was the sin of the man (in the womb) or that of his parents that must have caused his being born blind. Jesus immediately answered and said,“No, it wasn’t!”…”But because of his blindness, you will see God work a miracle for him. As long as it is day, I must do what the one who sent me wants me to do.…,” (John 9:3-4, CEV). Jesus then healed the man. Jesus made them realise that the man’s condition was an opportunity for him to experience the glory of God. You must always have this perspective. God can use you to solve problems in different ways. You can lay hands, speak a word of God’s power and favour over them, pray for God’s wisdom upon them, give them counsel or help them in some other way. As you trust and acknowledge God, He will direct you (Prov.3:5) and flow through you (John 7:38).

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, as I acknowledge you and your power today, please flow through me to solve problems for others. Help me shift their focus to you.
