ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR NEW NATURE

Galatians 5:22-25 (NLT)

But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there. Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.

As a believer in Christ, you are a new creature (2Cor.5:16-17) and you have a new nature. God has given you all that pertains to life and godliness (2Pet.1:3) and you are complete in Christ, (Col.2:10). This means that God has given you everything you need to be all that He wants you to be. As a believer, you must learn how to agree with God and join Him to say what He is saying about you, so that your reality in the Spirit can become your experience in the natural.

Based on our text above, please say the following to yourself: “I am a loving person, I am a joyful person. I am a peaceful. I am a patient. I am a kind person. I am a good person. I am a faithful person. I am a gentle person and I am a self-controlled person. My flesh and its lusts have been crucified on the Cross of Christ. I am a new creature. I am a Spirit-controlled person and my life continually brings glory to God.”

According to 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (NIV), also declare the following: “By God’s love that is in me, I am a patient person, I am a kind person person, I do not envy others, I do not boast, I am not proud, I am not rude, I am not a self-seeking person, I am not easily angered, I don’t keep records of wrongs done to me, I don’t delight in evil, I rejoice in the truth, I protect others, I trust others, I am hopeful and I always persevere.”

Faith Declaration:
I have a new nature. I am loving, joyful, peaceful, patient, kind, good, faithful, gentle and self-controlled.
