Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord

The message of Jesus is not one of tolerance for sin, but the confession and forsaking of sin to pursue Him and His path. His message is repentance and restoration.

Repentance involves not only a deep sorrow for the sin that we have committed, but a changing of our hearts and minds and actions. It requires a turning back to God, a realigning to His purposes.

We choose right over wrong, ethics over convenience, truth over popularity, and Christ over all. He is Lord of all or He is not Lord at all.

And, oh the joy that we experience when He completely erases and blots out our sins! They are washed away in the blood of Jesus, and we savor the peace of being in right relationship with the Father. We are clean and renewed!

After knowing the fierce heat of conviction and the barrenness of our souls outside of the Father’s will, we now can experience His presence like a cool breeze and a refreshing drink of water.

Submit every piece of your life to Him. When we repent and choose to conform to God’s Word and His pattern of thinking, He transforms our minds and keeps us in perfect peace as we stay focused on Him. Make Him Lord of all your life.

Today’s Blessing:

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. As you confess and forsake all sin, may you be renewed and refreshed by the very presence of God!
