“And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.”
Mark 5:34. KJV

Grace is the ‘superior’ bending down for the ‘inferior’; the superior person with the answer bending down for the inferior. That is what we receive from God. In Mark 5:24, as soon as Jairus asked Jesus to come and lay hands on his daughter, Jesus went with him. On the way to the house of Jairus, something happened. The woman with the issue of blood came and there was a little delay on the road. You know that everyone wants something from Jesus, because whoever comes gets something. The woman came and touched Him and received healing for her 12 years’ issue of blood. What I love each time I read about what Jesus does for us, is how He breaks protocol to bless us.

The law says that when you touch a person with the issue of blood or a person in her period, you are defiled. You would be put off for a while and thereafter, you would be cleansed. But this man Jesus touched a leper, the leper was cleansed, and He still remained sanctified. He touched the dead; the dead was raised, and He still remained sanctified. The woman with the issue of blood touched Him and she was healed but He still remained sanctified. That is your Jesus. How can you lose with Him?

In the Old Testament, any sacrifice that you put on the altar was burnt. But this man, Jesus was put on that altar as a burnt sacrifice for us. All the anger and wrath of God, the fury of God that was to be put on you was put on Him. Yet He still remains alive. What an awesome God we serve! That is why you can depend on Him.  That is why you can trust Him. That is why you can believe Him. Don’t ever doubt Him.
