ALLOW GOD’S WORD DWELL IN YOU RICHLY

Colossians 3:16 (TPT), John 8:31-32 (AMPC) Let the word of Christ live in you richly, flooding you with all wisdom. Apply the Scriptures as you teach and instruct one another with the Psalms, and with festive raises, and with prophetic songs given to you spontaneously by the Spirit, so sing to God with all your hearts! *So Jesus said to those Jews who had believed in Him, If you abide in My word [hold fast to My teachings and live in accordance with them], you are truly My disciples. And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free.

In 1Timothy 4:15, Apostle Paul told Timothy that if he gives himself wholly to God’s Word, his profiting will appear to all. This means that God’s Word will benefit him and these benefits will manifest openly. The same thing will happen to you as you give yourself wholly to God’s Word. The benefits will start from your inside and it will flow to your outside. One of the first effects God’s Word will have on you is that it will change your mindset. Your mind will be renewed and you will start experiencing positive transformations in your life, (Rom.12:2). You will find it easier to think God’s thoughts. Your faith and peace of mind will also continue to grow and increase, (Psa.119:165).

As God’s Word dwells in you richly, it will keep getting more real and tangible to you. The way you talk will also start being affected. From the abundance of God’s Word in your heart, your mouth will be speaking glorious things. You will speak with a different consciousness – a Word of God based consciousness. You will begin to talk more like God. Your prayer life will also be enhanced, (John 15:7). You will be more confident and you will be praying more according to God’s will, (1John 5:14). The Word of God in your heart and mouth will affect your behaviour and actions. You will love God’s ways more and you will walk in more of God’s Truth and righteousness. You will grow in your godly character, (Psa. 119:9). God’s Word will increasingly guide your path and your steps.

If you have been filling yourself with God’s Word and you are not yet seeing any of these benefits, do not be discouraged. Your testimonies will come. Increase your focus on Christ and keep studying God’s Word.
Keep filling your heart with the revelation of Christ and all He has done for you.

Prayer:
I thank you Heavenly Father for the great power of your Word and I receive your grace to keep filling myself with your Word.
