ALWAYS BE CONSCIOUS OF GOD’S LOVE AS YOU PRAY

JOHN 16:24, 26-27 (AMP) Up to this time you have not asked a … thing in My Name …but now ask and keep on asking and you will receive, so that your joy (…) may be full and complete. *…I am not saying that I will ask the Father on your behalf [for it will be unnecessary]. For the Father Himself [tenderly] loves you because you have loved Me and have believed that I came out from the Father.

Another major thing that produces confidence in us as we pray, is our deep consciousness of how much God loves us. Our prayer is always to our Father (Matt.6:9) and He loves us very dearly and tenderly. He loves us a million times better than any good earthly parent can ever love their children. He wants us to be confident that more than any parent will do, He will give us what we ask Him for, (Matt.7:7-11, GNB).

God the Father loves us the very same way that He loves Jesus, (John 17:23). This means that He listens to us and responds to us when we pray, the very same way He responds to Jesus. When you discover what God’s will is for you in Christ, don’t pray about it as if God does not want to give it to you. God wants to give it to you abundantly. God takes pleasure in answering our prayers. God gets joy and glory from answering our prayers, (John 15:7-8).

As you grow in your understanding of God’s great love for you, it will increase your confidence in the place of prayers and it will fill you with God’s fullness, (Eph.3:19). Our faith is activated and energized by the love of God, (Gal.5:6, AMPC). Let the Holy Spirit fill your heart with God’s love, (Rom. 5:5, GNB).
