ALWAYS SEEK THE FACE OF GOD FIRST

”And said unto them, Sirs, I perceive that this voyage will be with hurt and much damage, not only of the lading and ship but also of our lives.” Acts 27:10 KJV

Everything that man used to depend upon is no more working. Every Kingdom is being shaken.
In Acts 27:10, you will notice that when nothing was wrong, Paul had warned the people about the dangers of undertaking the journey.  Nothing had happened yet. There was no lightning and there was no thunder but Paul knew by the spirit. Now watch what happened in verse 11 “nevertheless the centurion believed the master and the owner of the ship more than those things which were spoken by Paul.” You see that they believed the master and the captain who based their judgment on professional advice.

As a believer you will ask, Brother Mike; is it wrong to receive professional advice about something? No! But when I weigh it side by side with God’s judgment I would rather go by God’s judgment. If you decide to go by man’s judgement you will fail.

Today, a lot of people are dead. A lot of people are owing money because of the professional advice of stockbrokers. Everyone became a stockbroker both big and small. When they are talking, you will be wondering whether they are the people who were manipulating the money. They forced people to borrow money to go and invest and all the stuff. There were forecast that our stock will be the highest in the next 10 years and some people are too sure. But they did crash.

They crashed because a lot of people did not pray.

If we prayed and sought the face of God, He would have told us: “Look, go and sell your stock!”  This is because He doesn’t want the devourer to destroy you and He doesn’t want you to run into a problem.
