Another Man’s Labour

23rd January 2022

Scripture Reading: 2 Kings 6: 24-33, 7: 1-20

Focus

“Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, Tomorrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.” (2 Kings 7: 1)

It is important to observe that when the tables eventually turned in Israel’s favour, it was four lepers who discovered the abundant resources abandoned by the enemies of Israel. A few lepers discovered what the entire people needed. Some people did the discovery, and others enjoyed the increase. Some people did the work, and others enjoyed the fruit of the work that had been done. Some labored, and others enjoyed the favour.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: in 2022, you will be counted amongst them that enjoyed the abundance that others created. Others will labour and you will partake of the increase from their labours. Others will open doors and you will walk through them. Others will win favours and you will be a partaker. Others will discover opportunities and you will become a partaker. Others will create increase that you will enjoy.

Some people were in the city, suffering the impact of the famine and of the siege laid by the King of Syria, and they were completely oblivious of the fact that God had positioned some lepers to move them from lack into abundance. They had no idea that something good was coming their way because they were not part of the labour. Hear me as I hear the Lord: good things are coming forth for you from places you least expect.

As you desire to partake from the labours of others, it would also be nice if people partake from your own labours. It would be awesome if in 2022, people testify to how they walked into the fruits from your own labour. It would be amazing if people testify of how you labored and they partook from the fruits of your own increase. It would be nice if your labour and results become the answers to someone’s prayer this year.

Welcome to that season where you will enjoy the abundance that others created. Welcome to that season where you must also yield results that others would partake of.

Declaration

I walk into the increase that others created, in Jesus’ name!
