ARISE AND PROPHESY OVER NATIONS AND SITUATIONS 2

Mark 11:12-14 & 20 (GNB)

The next day, as they were coming back from Bethany, Jesus was hungry. He saw in the distance a fig tree covered with leaves, so he went to see if he could find any figs on it. … Jesus said to the fig tree, “No one shall ever eat figs from you again!” And his disciples heard him. *Early next morning, as they walked along the road, they saw the fig tree. It was dead all the way down to its roots.

Just as Jesus spoke to a fig tree and it dried up from its roots and Jesus spoke to a storm and it became calm, you and I can speak to all forms of evil and corruption in various nations, spheres of influence of society and around us and they will dry up from their roots.

When Jesus was about to raise Lazarus from the dead, He prayed to God quite alright and gave thanks, but He also spoke and commanded Lazarus to come forth! (John 11:41-44). There are certain things we have been praying about and giving thanks to God for that God wants us to arise and start speaking to and boldly declaring His mind and will to. When the earth was without form and void, God did not complain about the situation, He spoke what He wanted to see into being and it happened.

Beloved, it is time for us to arise and use the life, power and authority of Christ that we have received to change situations in our world and around us. Arise and speak as Christ. Speak as Christ and expect situations to change and respond as they will when Christ speaks. Like God told Jeremiah, God wants us to root out, pull down and destroy things that need to be removed as well as plant and build things that need to be in place, (Jer.1:10).

Action Point:
By the empowerment of the Spirit and the authority of Christ, command evil things to dry up and good things to spring forth!
