At His Feet

“There is no one holy like the Lord; indeed, there is no one besides You, nor is there any rock like our God.”

1 Samuel 2:2

How do you handle a challenge, whether it is a simple “molehill” kind of problem or a Mount Everest moment where the whole of life has bottomed out?  First, stay cool. Slow down, and remember that God has said, “Be still and know that I am God.” Next, take a time out to get your priorities right, and recall that our number one priority is to seek the kingdom of God.  Finally, focus on the big picture. Ask God to help you see the situation from the perspective of eternity. In other words, bring Christ into the equation and don’t let the little gnats destroy you.

Does that sound daunting? How can you keep all these things in your arsenal for living?  The answer: Worship. Sit at the feet of Jesus, submit to His Word,  listen for His voice. …and worship Him.
