Be A Blessing

BIBLE READING: Deuteronomy 10-12

TEXT: “And I will make thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing “. – Genesis 12 :2.

Rhema for Living 28 February 2022 Devotional MESSAGE

If you critically look at our anchor text, you will discover that there are three things God spelt out that He would do for Abraham (and also forbid who are the deeds of Abraham) which will enable Abraham (and us also) to be a blessing. In other words, the essence of God’s blessing on his children is for them to be a blessing. And the more they are a blessing to others, the more the blessings on them multiplied.

Kingdom wealth therefore is not to keep but to express the love of Christ, to preach the gospel and enlarge the kingdom of God. It is to be a blessing to the widow, to put a smile on the orphans. It is to build the broken walls of Jerusalem, and find kingdom projects to the glory of God.

Being a blessing start with the understanding of kingdom prosperity. Many are ignorant it it, hence they misuse it and shut the door of further supply.

When you know why God blessed you, and why He will continue to multiply the blessings, you will position yourself properly with the help of the Spirit of God to reach out to others because in reaching out is what makes you an outreach.

You don’t have to wait to become a millionaire or a billionaire to be a blessing. No! To do that is to remain at the level you are. God knows the level you are presently and expects you to start from there and provoke further blessings upon your life. His ways are not the ways of man.
They are higher ways for higher life that makes men a wonder on the earth. That is why the Psalmist declared, “I am as a wonder unto many…” Psalms 71 :7

PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, by your mercy, I step out from this day to be a blessing.
