BE ASSURED OF YOUR PROSPERITY AND VICTORY

Esther 6:12-13 (GNB)

Mordecai then went back to the palace entrance while Haman hurried home, covering his face in embarrassment. He told his wife and all his friends everything that had happened to him. Then she and those wise friends of his told him, “You are beginning to lose power to Mordecai. He is a Jew, and you cannot overcome him. He will certainly defeat you.”

The simple reason Haman’s wife and his friends told him that he would not prevail over Mordecai, was because Mordecai was a Jew. As a Jew, Mordecai belonged to the nation of Israel, who were in a covenant relationship with God. It was common knowledge at that time that, because God was on the side of the Jews, no other nation could overcome them. They prospered and flourished wherever they found themselves. This was also why David knew that he would defeat Goliath.

Right when Haman was going to tell the king about hanging Mordecai, the king made Haman to honour and celebrate the same Mordecai. This is how God will keep turning things around in your favour. Because you are God’s precious child and a member of His royal family, your prosperity and victory in life are assured and a done deal. No weapon formed against you shall prosper. You shall prevail and flourish wherever you find yourself.

When Mordecai was approaching Esther to go before the king on behalf of the Jews, he told her that if she did not help them, God would send them help and they would be saved, (Esth. 4:14). Mordecai was sad about what was going on but he was sure that God would grant them victory. He asked Esther for help but his faith was in God. He knew that even if Esther did not help, God would help them in some other way.

Faith Declaration:
My prosperity and victory are sure in all areas of my life, because I am God’s child and a member of His royal family.
