BE CONFIDENT OF THE STRENGTH OF GOD AVAILABLE TO YOU

Philippians 4:13 (LB, AMPC), 1John 4:4 (AMP) for I can do everything God asks me to with the help of Christ who gives me the strength and power. *I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self- sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency]. *Little children, you are of God [you belong to Him] and have [already] defeated and overcome them [the agents of the antichrist], because He Who lives in you is greater (mightier) than he who is in the world.

The temptations and challenges you are facing may be great, but the life and power of God in you is always greater than them. God wants you to always have this consciousness and confidence. Stop comparing yourself with your challenges. Compare God with them. It is not about you and them, it is about who is in you and who is in them. When the Syrian army surrounded Elisha and Gehazi, Elisha did not say, “We are more than them.” He said, “They that are with us are more than they that are with them,” (2Kings 6:16). David did not compare himself with Goliath. He said the Lord who delivered me from the lion and bear will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine, (1Sam.17:37).

When the Israelites first approached the borders of Canaan, Moses sent scouts into the Promised Land to assess the situation. Ten of the scouts came back with an evil report because they were comparing their physical stature with that of the giants there, (Num.13:33). On the other hand, Joshua and Caleb were confident of victory because they had a different focus and consciousness. They said, “If the LORD delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey,” (Num.14:8).

God is always at work in you, making you willing and able to do His will, (Phil.2:13). As such, your victory over those challenges in your health, finances, family, business, career, education and your spiritual life is guaranteed already. See this and begin to rejoice. Focus more on God’s strength in you and it will arise and manifest through you. You will take possession of ALL the promises and victory that God has planned for your life. You shall testify.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I thank you that by your abundant strength and resources that are always available to me, my victory is always sure.
