BE EAGER TO MANIFEST THE SUPERNATURAL

1CORINTHIANS 12:1, 7, 31 1CORINTHIANS 14:1a (NKJV, CEV)

Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant: *But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: *But earnestly desire the best gifts. And yet I show you a more excellent way. *Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, …. *Love should be your guide. Be eager to have the gifts that come from the Holy Spirit…

One reason many believers are not manifesting the supernatural is because they are not eager for it. So many believers still think that manifesting the supernatural is solely for spiritual leaders, but Jesus said these signs shall follow them that believe. Verse 7 in our text above says the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one of us. It is a gift you have freely received from Christ. The Bible says “But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ, Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men,” (Eph.4:7-8).

One reason many believers are not eager to manifest the supernatural is because they are ignorant of spiritual gifts. How much have you studied about what each of the spiritual gifts are and how to manifest them? How many messages have you listened to about spiritual gifts?

You don’t qualify or pay a price to be able to manifest spiritual gifts. You manifest them simply by faith in Christ, (Acts 3:11-16). God manifests them through you to glorify Christ and to be a blessing to the lives of others, (Rom.1:11). If you don’t desire to manifest the gifts of the Spirit, you will never manifest them. Desire to demonstrate the Spirit and power of God as a confirmation of the power of the Gospel, (1Cor.2:4).

THANK GOD FOR GIVING YOU THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT AND TELL GOD YOU ARE EAGER TO MANIFEST THEM. PRAY IN OTHER TONGUE’S.
