BE FOCUSED

“Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you.” Proverbs 4:25 NLT

Today, God has sent me to tell you that He will do a new thing in your life. Therefore, I encourage you to focus on that new thing that He is about to do. Paul said, “this one thing I do, forgetting the thing behind, I reach forth for the things before me” (Philippians 3:13 KJV). That is focus!

Beloved, don’t run after several things; zero in on specific things and conquer them. Proverbs 4:26 says:  “Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established” (KJV). When you do this, it determines where you are going and how safe you will be. As you listen to and obey God’s word, all your steps will be ordered of the Lord.

Another way to help you stay focused is to plan well ahead because this gives you direction and helps you achieve huge success. Don’t beat about the bush. Proverbs 4:27 says, “Turn not to the right hand nor to the left; remove thy foot from evil” (KJV). What does that mean?  It means no distraction from destiny. Avoid evil! A lot of things will want to distract you but decide that you will not be distracted. Even when you are in a church service and someone is engaging you in frivolous talk, postpone such conversations till after the service is over. You came to receive life; therefore, refuse to be distracted. Also, it is not every call requesting you to come to the village that you must respond to. Pray about it and ensure you have peace before responding. No room for sentiments because you must attain the colourful destiny God has for you.

We have come to a point in human history where people are playing God. We have a lot of God mockers. They go to church, they answer church names, but they are mocking God. They know they don’t have a relationship with God, but God is saying: “Enough is enough!”  There will be a clear distinction between those who serve Him and those who don’t serve Him.
