BE MORE CONSCIOUS OF THE PRESENCE OF JESUS

Matthew 18:19, Revelation 2:1 (CEV)

…if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. *…write to the angel of the church in Ephesus: I am the one who holds the seven stars in my right hand, and I walk among the seven gold lampstands. Listen to what I say.

The lampstands in our second text above refer to the churches or gatherings of God’s people and the seven stars refer to the leaders of various churches, (Rev.1:20, LB).

Every time we gather together as believers in Christ, our gathering is not an ordinary one. Jesus is in our midst and He is not just standing idle in our midst, He is walking and working amongst us. Just like it was when He was on the earth, whenever Jesus walks about, He glorifies God and manifests God’s power. The Bible says He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the devil, (Acts 10:38). The size of the gathering does not limit the presence and operation of Jesus in our midst. Just focus on Jesus and allow Him to work and move mightily in His healing, miraculous and wondrous power. Be conscious of His tangible presence and glory.

Like our second text above says, as spiritual leaders and ministers, we must also be conscious that in our gatherings, Jesus is holding us. His hand is upon us and He is empowering us and using us to manifest His glory and power. As you yield yourself to Him, He will do great and mighty things through you. Be more conscious of Him than yourself or anyone or anything else. There shall be great testimonies.

Prayer:
Father, I thank you for the mighty presence of Jesus that is available as we gather in your name. Move mightily in our midst.
