Memorise: And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Galatians 6:9

READ: Luke 18:29-30

29 And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God’s sake,

30 Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.

Bible In One Year: 2 Kings 23-25; John 7:1-31

MESSAGE:

Being a Christian teenager in this perverse world can be tough. I know that you see many other teenagers commit sin so much that it seems normal. You also see many other teenagers enjoying all the pleasures of the world and it seems as if you are a fool choosing to stick with Christ. I want to encourage you today, don’t be weary. You are in the right path while they are in the wrong path. I know this because I have been in the same path as you for over 45 years now and I tell you I have never regretted it. When the going gets tough, the tough get going. Don’t ever relent in the face of trails and temptations. Stay with Christ at all costs and you won’t regret it.

On the other hand, those who are fulfilling the lust of the flesh and committing sin will have plenty of regrets in the future if they don’t repent now. Some will become addicted to drugs, some girls will become pregnant, some will have abortions and damage their wombs, and some others will drop out of school. You will not be named with any of these things if you remain in Christ. What profit is it, if you mortgage your future just for some worldly pleasures today?

Key Point:

Though the Christian life may seem boring, it is the most joyous and peaceful life ever.

Hymn 1:

1.Stand up! Stand up for Jesus,
Ye soldiers of the Cross!
Lift high His royal banner,
It must not suffer loss.
From victory unto victory
His army shall He lead,
Till every foe is vanquished,
And Christ is Lord indeed.

2.Stand up, stand up for Jesus,
The solemn watchword hear;
If while ye sleep he suffers,
Away with shame and fear.
Where’re yeah meet with evil,
Within you or without,
Charge for the God of battles,
And put the foe to rout.

3.Stand up! Stand up for Jesus!
Stand in His strength alone;
The arm of flesh will fail you,
Ye dare not trust your own.
Put on the gospel armour,
And watching unto prayer;
Where duty calls, or danger,
Be never wanting there.

4.Stand up! Stand up for Jesus!
The strife will not be long;
This day the noise of battle,
The next the victor’s song.
To him that overcometh
A crown of life shall be;
He with the King of glory
Shall reign eternally.
