TOPIC: Be Orderly
BIBLE READING: Jeremiah 45-47
TEXT: “Let all things be done decently and in order.” 1 Cor. 14 :40.

MESSAGE
Our God is a God of order; He ordered creation. If you look critically at all He created in Genesis chapter one, you will see explicit orderliness. He needed light to commence, hence He first created it. For the creatures that live in the water, He first created their place of habitation, created the sea, before he called them forth. And for those on the land, He created the earth before He created them. And after all created, He made man to oversee the works of His hands. What an order! If therefore, you are a child of God, you have the nature of God in you, hence God is instructing you as spelt out in our text of emphasis to do all things decently and in order. When he says all things, He means all things not some. Liberty of the Spirit does not mean disorderliness. No! There is how to do things and it speaks volume of your godliness.

There is how you dress before you open your mouth to preach you have passed the signal across that will drive home your message. There is how you present your offering, tithe, seed etc and it shows your revenue for God. Before Elijah called on God in 1 Kings 18; when there was a contest with the prophet of Baal, he orderly prepared the sacrifice. When he was through, he called on the LORD and the fire of the LORD fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice, the wood, the stones and the dust and licked up the water in the trench. 1 Kings 18 :30 – 38 God expect orderliness from us in the things we do so he can manifest Himself gloriously in our lives. In this tenth month, as you pursue order, I see God ordering your life to greatness. Your time has come.

PRAYER: My Father ! My Father! As I begin to pray, the grace to be orderly rest upon my life
