“Keep your eyes open, hold tight to your convictions, give it all you’ve got, be resolute.” 1 Corinthians 16:13  MSG
These are the last days and the devil is out of the closet, knowing that his time is short. However, the good news is that, as believers, victory is guaranteed already. This is why you must decide to stand against all odds.
Apostle Paul writing to the Corinthian church admonished the people to be on guard, at alert, and not allow themselves to be distracted by anything. Beloved, if in those days when evil was not as prevalent as we see today, Paul admonished the people on this, how much more now, seeing all that is going on in the world. We cannot take this instruction for granted. We must keep our eyes open!
These are not the days to trifle with your Christian faith. Many things are begging for your attention and yes, some of them are important, but like Mary, don’t be encumbered with many things. God’s word is needful for you. Hold tight to it and live by it. You have the responsibility to receive wisdom and instructions from Him so you can live successfully as a Christian here on earth.
It is sad to see believers today, basing their lives on what they hear on television, or read in the newspapers or on the internet, when we have been given the infallible truth of God’s word to guide us. The Bible is very clear on how you are supposed to live your life as a child of God. However, it is your responsibility to search for this wisdom and apply it in your life.
It is time to become resolute in what you believe. Don’t allow the enemy toss you like a leaf in the wind. Arm yourself with the word of God and stand your ground at all times. I believe God for you that you will fulfil your God-ordained destiny. Every seed of God’s word spoken over your life will find expression.  I will hear your testimony.
