BE RIGHTEOUSNESS CONSCIOUS

“Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame”. 1Corinthians 15:34 (KJV)People don’t believe they have heard a solid preaching until you literally “beat” them on their heads and tell them how sinful and how bad they are, how terrible the sins they had committed and how evil they are. And people call that preaching!  That is not true. I also did that some time ago but maturity through the reading of the Bible has given me the understanding that God addresses your strength and not your weakness. God speaks to your strengths! God wants you to be conscious of your strength and not your weaknesses. He wants you to be righteousness conscious. He doesn’t want to you to be sin conscious.Sin consciousness will always lead you to sin. Proverbs 23:7 declares: “For as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he……”(KJV). Every time you are conscious of sin, your mind is always thinking about sin. What will happen is that you begin to sin. But when you understand you are royalty, there is a way you live and there is a way you carry yourself. You don’t carry yourself anyhow. You don’t do what ordinary people do because in your heart, you know that you are not ordinary.Child of God, you are not a sinner, you are in Christ. You are not a failure; you are in Christ. You are not barren; you are in Christ. You are not poor; you are in Christ. You are not defeated; you are in Christ. You are not rejected; you are in Christ. You have been in-Christed. Therefore, you are successful. You are victorious. You have been accepted in the beloved. You are more than a conqueror. You are the wealthy one. You are the productive one. I charge you today to always be righteousness Conscious.Further Reading: Romans 3:19-31, 2Corinthians 5:17-21Daily Bible Reading: Morning- Psalms 84-86; Evening- Romans 12
