BEHOLD I AM MAKING ALL THINGS NEW

REVELATION 21:5-6 (NLT), JEREMIAH 32:27

And the one sitting on the throne said, “Look, I am making everything new!” And then he said to me , “Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.” And he also said, “It is finished! I am the Alpha and Omega —-the Beginning and the End.
To all who are thirsty, I will give freely from the springs of the water of life. Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?

As we celebrate the Independence of Nigeria today, I hear God say that He is bringing His newness and freshness into every area of this nation. We are going to experience the newness of God in every sector as well as every field and sphere of influence in our society. God Himself will do it and all the praise and glory will be given unto Him. For He is God of all flesh and there is nothing hard for Him to do.

In first text above, God was speaking specifically about the new heaven and the earth but He wants us to know that the same way He can bring about a new heaven and earth, He can also bring about newness in our nation. For God can subdue all things unto Himself (Galatians 3 21b), including all our challenges as a nation. He also works all things after the counsel of His own will, (Ephesians 1: 11b).

There shall be an increase in the spread of the true Gospel of Christ in this nation and as people hear the Gospel, they will become new creatures and more believers will walk in newness of life and God’s will for our lives.

As we pray for our nation and step out in boldness to preach the Gospel, God’s kingdom will come and His will shall be done in this nation.
As a church, Christ is building us and the gates of hell shall not prevail against us.

Prayer Focus:
Thank God for keeping this nation. Ask Him for His newness in every area of the nation. Pray for the spread of the Gospel.
