“As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.’’
Mark 5:36 KJV
I come to remind you once again that the Christian life, though full of trials, is, nevertheless, progressive. It is from grace to grace and from glory to glory. It does not matter what contradiction you see or experience, it can only get better for the believer. That is why I know that though you may be going through certain difficult situations right now, refuse to accept defeat. Keep trusting God because nothing can stop your celebration. I challenge you to believe God for the best, because it will surely happen.
Oftentimes, the problem with believers is that we take a look at our lives and are tempted to judge ourselves from the perspective of the world. The result is that we begin to compare ourselves with others, and feel that we have been left behind. Understand that God deals with and sees you differently from those in the world. Remember that one day with the Lord is like a thousand years, and a thousand years is but like a day in His sight. What does this say to you? It means that God is not controlled by time. He does not live in time. You are the one that lives in time and so certain things can only happen at His own appointed time.
You must always walk with the mentality of one who knows that all things work together for good to them who love God and are called according to His purpose. Like I would always say, wake up in the morning and expect only good to happen to you. Everything around you may not look good, that is just the fact, the truth however, is that He daily loads you with benefits. You must take your portion of the benefits. You have a responsibility to create your day with your mouth. Don’t allow the devil create your day. Speak what you want to see and it will come to pass. Refuse to cancel yourself out in-spite of what the enemy throws at you, knowing that head or tail you would win.
The Apostle Paul puts it this way: ’’For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day’’. (2 Corinthians 4: 16 KJV). He goes on to say in verses 17-18, ‘’for our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.’’
Beloved, God’s Word is not void of power, the truth is that there is a glory that God has prepared for you and I declare that you will partake of it in Jesus’ name.
