BELIEVE THE WORD
“Jesus saith unto him, Go thy way; thy son liveth. And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way. And as he was now going down, his servants met him, and told him, saying, Thy son liveth.” John 4:50-51 (KJV)
God’s promises are not what He wants to do; they are what He has already done. So, when the devil rises up against you with evil, always know that God has already given you victory in His word. Everything you will ever need is in the word. That is why you must never trivialize the place of the word. If you disregard the word, you will rob yourself of blessings.
Let us look at the story of a nobleman who came to Jesus and asked Him to come and heal his son. And Jesus said to him: “… ‘Go home. Your son will live.’ The man believed what Jesus had said. He started to go home.” (John 4:50 EASY). Jesus didn’t follow him home. However, Jesus spoke, the man believed the word and went his way. Halfway to his house, some people came and met him and said your son is already healed. And he asked when the healing took place. And he found out that it was the time that Jesus said, “Your son will live.” Jesus spoke the word, the man believed, and the miracle of healing took place instantly.
Beloved, the Word of God has no margin for error. God is always watching over His Word to perform it. When you read the promise of God, and it comes alive to you; that is when you receive the Word. Not when the symptoms are gone. When you receive the word, the healing takes place. Even when you don’t see any physical evidence, believe that it is already done. The exchange has taken place in the Spirit. When you accept it, then the manifestation will come.
Stop wondering about how the Word will happen. Just believe! You will not be frustrated. The enemy will not take what belongs to you. The delay in your life stops today in Jesus’ name.
