BLESS YOUR FAMILY

“And all the people departed every man to his house; and David returned to bless his house”.
1 Chronicles 16:43 KJV

David was a man who knew how to access the goodness of God. Even God Himself described David as a man after His heart. His zeal for God was second to none. No wonder he wrote in Psalm 27 verse 4-5: “One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple. For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; in the secret of His tabernacle shall he hide me; He shall set me upon a rock”(KJV).

Beloved, if you read the book of 1 Chronicles 16 from verse one, you will notice that after David had blessed Israel, he came home to bless his family. There is a place for the priest of the house to bless the family. A father should speak blessing over his family during devotion; every morning or night. Speak blessing over everyone and everything that has to do with you. Speaking blessing is how to reap the benefits of the kingdom. Whenever I am in town, I am always happy to be in church to bless my church family. When a spiritual authority speaks into your life, receive it because it is scriptural.

David celebrated God extravagantly. He went on to become the greatest king in the entire Israel and is still being celebrated up till now. But his wife Michal became barren throughout her life time. You see why it is important to keep your zeal? When you lose your enthusiasm, something dies and productivity becomes impossible. That will not be your portion in Jesus Name.

Today, I call you blessed! Every bondage you are going through ends today! No matter how long it has lasted, no matter the affliction; be it sickness, disease, pains or frustration, disappointment and delays, interruptions of your miracle, it ends now.
