I believe that the mind is one of the most wonderful gifts that God has given to every man. It is a gift that you are expected to use.
When deciding whether to marry someone or not, you must first use your mind. Ask yourself, “What is the background (family, education, etc.) of this person? How old is he or she? What language does he or she speak?”
When I have to take decisions in the ministry, I do not just pray about them. I think about them! I analyse things! God gave me a mind and I intend to use it on a daily basis.
The human being has a more developed brain; a mind with a great thinking capability. It is the use of the mind, which has made human beings rule, and control animals; including those that are wild and dangerous. We capture animals like elephants that are a hundred times the size of a man. We keep them in cages and observe them at our pleasure. What gives us this power? It is the use of a superior mind.
Those humans who have encouraged the use of the mind have ended up ruling those that have not used their minds much. The educated (developed minds) are ruling the uneducated. They have higher salaries and are better looked after. It takes more use of the mind to develop machines and complicated equipment used to convert raw materials into final products. Simply speaking, the world is divided into two: those who have used their God-given gift of a super mind and those who have not!
