BREAK NEW GROUNDS

DEUTERONOMY 2:1-8(GNB), ISAIAH 54:2-3

We finally turned and went into the desert….. as the LORD had commanded and we spent a long time wondering about in the Hill country of Edom. “Then the LORD told me that we had spent enough time wondering about in those hills and that we should go north. Enlarge the place of thy tent…. stretch forth the curtains…. Spare not… For thou shall bring forth on the right hand and on the left….

There are times that we refuse to make deliberate efforts to move forward or make progress in what we are doing. Sometimes we get so comfortable with all the progress we have made that we forget that we have not yet arrived and that there is still so much more that God wants to do both in and through our lives. We must learn to forget what is behind and press forward towards all that lie ahead for us in life and in God (Philippians 3 :13 – 14).

Beloved it is time for you to move forward. It is time for you to break new ground. Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard and minds have not imagined the kind of things that God has in store for you , but God will reveal them to you and bring you into them by His Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:9 -10)

When our second text above says ‘spare not”, it means don’t hold back. Do not allow anything to stop you from taking those steps and and breaking into those new realms and territories, in line with God’s leading and will for your life. It is time to launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a great catch(Luke 5:4). It is time for you to break new grounds in your family, in your career and business, in your academics, in your spiritual life, in your ministry, in your mind, in your health and in all areas of your life. Rise up and move forward. God will lead you.

Prayer:
Dear Father, I am ready to move forward and break new grounds in my life.
Please lead me and empower me by your Spirit.
