“But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few” Matthew 9:36-37 KJV
From the above scripture, the problem is not the harvest. The world is right now in a cup of trembling and people need God. They need God! But “how…. shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher”. (Romans 10:14 KJV)

You see, people cannot believe what they have not heard. So, it is not just enough for you to say you are a Christian or that you are born again. Of what use is your being ‘born again, when it is not impacting another person’s life?
Every day we come to church to be blessed. Every day we come to Church to receive as if the church is a bless-me club. This is not peculiar to any church. It is a challenge in the Body of Christ. Everyone wants to be at the centre of attraction. How many people have you brought to church this year? The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few! How many have you said to: “Come with me to our church”? Think about it! We are becoming very complacent! We are sitting down enjoying. Do you know that the person you are ignoring to preach to, that might just be his last? There is a thin line between life and death. And once one closes his eyes and fails to open it, that’s the end! There is nothing like I will repent when I am dead. It is not possible. It is now that you have your mind intact that you can make your choice. Yet we are moving about coasting along as if nothing happened. Year in year out, there is not one person you can point at that came to church because you witnessed to him or her. That should not be your testimony. Start today to pray about it and give yourself a soul-winning target and God will honour your faith.
