BROKEN PROTOCOLS
13th May 2023
Scripture Reading: 1 KINGS 17: 1-16
Focus
“And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there.” (1 Kings 17: 4)
In our Focal Scripture, after Elijah had proclaimed famine upon Israel, God announced that He had commanded a raven to feed him at the brook Cherith. In Leviticus 11 vs. 13-15, God Himself outlawed the raven from being eaten by the children of Israel. The raven was given a negative introduction. It was described as abominable. The same bird that God called abominable became the messenger that brought food to Elijah. God broke His own law in order to feed Elijah.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: God Himself will cause laws to be broken in order to favour you. God Himself will cause protocols to be broken in order to favour you. God will cause the statutes that have been long established, to be waived in order to favour you. God Himself will cause established orders to be altered for your sake and in your favour. God will cause policy makers to adjust their plans and position in order to favour you. Protocols will be broken for you.
The same God that allowed a bird that was outlawed to become a messenger for the food and sustenance of Elijah, will break every protocol that needs to be broken in order to make your life more comfortable. The same God of all creation will choose even the basest of men and basest of creatures to make His will come to pass in your life. The same God who set up the law will waive it in order to supply your needs.
When Jehovah is involved, no protocol is strong enough to stand against His will and interest. When God is involved, no protocol or policy will limit His plan for you. When God is involved, what is that roadblock that will stand before and against you? When God is involved, who is that gatekeeper that will say that God’s will for you will not be fulfilled? When God is involved, who will question Him for choosing to use the raven?
If God could waive the same law and protocol that He instituted by Himself, is it the law and protocols of men that He will not waive for you?
Declaration
Heaven will break protocols for my sake, in Jesus’ name!
