Bucket list
“For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.” – PHILIPPIANS 1:6
If you had a “bucket list,” what would you put on it? Bucket lists are fairly harmless, but what do we do when our important dreams are shattered, and our expectations go unfulfilled? We may become disappointed and think that life isn’t fair – and even that God isn’t fair.
How much better it is to trust God with the details of our lives, recognizing that He is in control, and that He is fully capable of replacing our broken dreams with something infinitely better.
God never leaves unfinished business. When things don’t work out the way you thought they would, it just might be that God has a better idea. I find that comforting and encouraging, don’t you?
