CELEBRATE GOD FOR HIS BENEVOLENT LORDSHIP OVER YOUR LIFE

Psalms 23:1-5 (CEV)

You, LORD, are my shepherd. I will never be in need. You let me rest in fields of green grass. You lead me to streams of peaceful water…. You…lead me along the right paths. I may walk through valleys …but I won’t be afraid. You are with me…your shepherd’s rod makes me feel safe. You treat me to a feast, while my enemies watch. You honor me as your guest…you fill my cup until it overflows…

Like a good shepherd that takes good care of His sheep, our Lord and God has been so kind, caring and faithful in the way He has taken good care of us this year. For this, we owe Him all the worship, thanksgiving and praise!

As a good shepherd, He has abundantly provided for us in numerous ways, making sure we did not lack. He led us on the right path that we should go and to the path where we could experience His peace. Despite all we went through throughout the year, He kept on restoring and refreshing our souls with His love and goodness.

There were times it seemed as though we were walking through the valley of the shadow of death, but our good Lord and Shepherd did not leave us alone. He strengthened us, comforted us and continued to lead us till we came out of the valley. In the midst of certain conspiracies, hostilities and animosities, our Lord and Shepherd still caused us to enjoy His abundance and He kept anointing our heads and our cups kept overflowing with His goodness. He was our shield, our glory and the lifter up of our heads, (Psa.3:3). He blessed us and surrounded us with His favour as with a shield, (Psa.5:12). His goodness and mercies continued following us throughout the year.

Thanksgiving Prayer:
Dear Father, we thank you for how you took good care of us and showed us your mercy and goodness this year
