Celebrate the Glory and Victory of Christ in your life

Ephesians 1:6-8 (LB), 2 Corinthians 2:14
… all praise to God for his wonderful kindness … and his favor that he has poured out upon us because we belong to his dearly loved Son. So overflowing is his kindness toward us that he took away all our sins through the blood of his Son, by whom we are saved; and he has showered down upon us the richness of his grace—for how well he understands us and knows what is best for us at all times. Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

Beloved, Iam very sure that you experienced the glory and victory of Christ at various times and in various ways in your life this year. As such, we shall praise, dance and celebrate, rejoice and bless the name of God like never before today. This year, Jesus granted us victory over the devil in many ways and at many times. The devil was severally disappointed and crushed under our feet (Rom.16:20).

Jesus continually granted us His peace and wholeness, as the Lord of peace Himself, He gave us peace always by all mean, (2Thes.3:16). The grace of Jesus continually abounded in our lives. He gave us His sufficiency and He made us abound towards every good work, (2Cor.9:8). Despite all we went through, He perfected us, established us, strengthened us and He settled us, (1Pet.5:10).

He gave us victory over sin. He did not allow sin to have dominion over us, (Rom.6:14). Even when we fall, He stood as our advocate and He lifted and restored us back to the right path. He gave us perpetual access to God. We kept on going boldly to His throne of grace to obtain His mercy and find His grace to help us in our time of need, (Heb.4:16) and He kept on lavishing His mercy and grace upon us. He kept on loving us and showing us His mercy. Psalms 103:8-10 (GNB) says, “The LORD is merciful and loving, slow to become angry and full of constant love. He does not keep on rebuking; he is not angry for ever. He does not punish us as we deserve or repay us according to our sins and wrongs.”

Jesus healed us, He comforted and gave us wholeness in our lives. When we were afflicted by illness or disease, in His mercy, His mighty healing power came through and healed our bodies and raised us up. For this and more He did for us this year, may His name be praised forever and ever.

Thanksgiving Song:
We are saying thank you Jesus, thank you my Lord, we are saying thank you Jesus, thank you my Lord.
