CHRIST IS OUR LOCATION

Ephesians 2:4-6

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: *… *be grateful to God for letting you have part in what he has promised his people in the kingdom of light. God rescued us from the dark power of Satan and brought us into the kingdom of his dear Son, who forgives our sins and sets us free.

In our study yesterday, our focus was more on the reality that we are made by God the Father, in the image and likeness of Christ. Today, our focus is on the reality that we live in Christ. In Him we live and move and have our being (Acts 17:28). Christ is our address. He is our environment, our ecosystem and our economy. The physical country or city where you live is not your real location. Christ is your real location. You are in Christ and at that country or city. Apostle Paul was very deliberate about this when he was addressing his letters to believers. “Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints ‘in’ Christ Jesus which are ‘at’ Philippi,” (Phil.1:1). “To the saints and faithful brethren ‘in’ Christ which are ‘at’ Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ,” (Col.1:2).

What this means is that even though you are at that physical place, you are still in Christ and you enjoy all the blessings, power, glory, abundance and realities that you have in Him. This is why a thousand may fall at your side and ten thousand may fall at your other side but what is happening to them will not come near you, (Psa.91:7). Also, God does not supply all your needs according to the economy of your physical location. He supplies all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Christ is your economy. You are blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, (Eph.1:3). You are not cursed and nothing is wrong with you. Your physical location cannot limit your spiritual allocation. Never allow your physical location to limit your faith and reality. Your past experience does not change your Christ reality. You are seated in Christ. You maintain a position of rest and authority in Him.

Faith Declaration:
Christ is my location. In Him I live, move and have my being. My past or physical location does not limit me. Christ defines me.
